Curing Requirement- All concrete requires time to fully cure and reach its final strength. Allow concrete to dry for 12 hours before subjecting it to foot traffic. For driveways, it is recommended that you not park automobiles on the surface for at least 2 weeks. It takes concrete approximately 28 days to attain its full strength.

Sealing your concrete- Your concrete has been treated with a "cure and seal" compound designed to protect it from the elements. We recommend that this treatment be repeated annually. If you notice a powdery white or splotchy appearance, especially after a rain, the seal is doing its job.

Weight Capacity- Do not allow heavy delivery trucks on your driveway. They may crack your concrete. Have the truck remain on the street level and bring you merchandise with a hand truck.

Cleaning- Pressure washing is generally not needed. A rinse with a garden hose followed by a leaf blower to remove excess water will clean you concrete adequately. Dirt can be removed from a concrete surface by applying a small amount of liquid soap and scrubbing with a broom and then rinsing with water.

Don't allow drain water to undermine the slab and cause settlement cracks.

Refrain from the use of de-icing chemicals (salt or calcium chloride) for snow and ice removal during winter.
